'Entombed' was written in memory of the 2006 Beaconsfield Mine Collapse, that took the life of Larry Knight, and contained Brant Webb and Todd Russell in a precarious tomb for 14 nights.
On 25 April 2006, a small earthquake in Northern Tasmania caused rockfall collapse at the Beaconsfield Gold Mine. A rescue effort was undertaken to rescue two miners caught in the rubble. However, the detonation of each explosive charge used to clear the debris risked burying the two miners. Using each other for support and yelling for help, the two miners were found. However, the rescuers needed to find a second, safer route to recover the miners. After 14 long days away from human contact, Brant and Todd emerged to the surface.
